Hello and welcome to my page.

Above is a picture of myself during the quarantine where I taught from my classroom. It was important to me to reach out to my students so they know I cared. We had this activity we all did as a school and added a word that embodied the year mine was weird. As a high school science teacher of Environmental Science and Zoology my work entails being not only proficient in my content but also being entertaining and mindful of "customer service". My career involves helping future adults to become the best human they can be.

Some things I am passionate about are activism and Sustainability. Below are some images that convey and demonstrate who I am. Friends of the Fox River is an organization that I have been involved with for almost 20 years.

There is an image of my Biomimicry Journal I used with my classes. Biomimicry combines sutatinability and environmentalism with engineering. Incorporating biomimicry into my classes have invigorated them to become more systemic learners.

My Doctoral focus as a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point program in Educational Sustainability is on Indigenous Science and Methodology. Indigenous Science is systemic and has a Growth Mindset. It is transformative and dynamic.

Our program has an emphasis on the UN Sustainability Goals .
